01.20.10 - late last night, i got some very sad news. a dear friend's mother lost her battle with cancer. although i didn't know her very well, i was really stricken by her passing. k's cousin wrote in an email to me that her aunt was the glue to the family. she went on to say that k's kindness, sweetness, and grace were gifts inherited from her mom -- such a beautiful and heartening legacy to pass on. she will be surely missed.
it was really difficult for me to think of picture that was fitting to how i felt. this is all i could muster up today -- a screen shot of clouds on my computer.
That is the perfect shot to portray how you felt.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about the loss, it always sad to lose someone especially when its the one that holds the family together.
Sorry for your sad news, its not a good battle to have but as least she is a peace now.
