08.16.10 (posted 08.18.10) - there was a brief but wild storm that barrelled through nyc this afternoon. it happened right as i was getting out of work. here's the conundrum. when you need to be somewhere, do you wait it out not knowing when the rain will end or suck it up and head out recognizing that an umbrella, raincoat, or a poncho will do little to keep you dry?
