04.10.10 (posted 04.12.10) - today, i had the pleasure of being part of a teatime bridal shower for my buddy, r. i joined 25 of her closest friends, family, and soon-to-be-family at lady mendl's tea salon. it's located in a historic brownstone on irving place and is named after the first american female interior designer, elsie de wolfe (aka lady mendl). you a get a feel for how lady mendl's aesthetic must have been with the victorian decor of the tea salon and adjoining inn. here's a few pictures i snapped of the delicious food we ate. congrats, r! i can't wait for your big day.
