04.19.10 (posted 04.24.10) - i start off this post with a big UUUGGGGGHHHH followed by a slow, agonizing NOOOOOOOOO! this evening i dropped my iphone into water. not just a dribble of water but a huge "bowl" of water. i frantically put into a canister full of brown rice with the hope that it would suck up any extra moisture i couldn't get to after wiping it down with paper towels. i heard about that trick from this lady i follow on twitter that resuscitated her cell phone after accidently leaving it in her pants and then washing them. (yikes!) so tomorrow we'll see if it still works. crossing fingers.
