03.17.10 (posted 03.18.10) - it was a sea of green in manhattan. everybody, irish or not, was celebrating st. patrick's day.
here's a picture i snapped of the stairs and escalators leading to the uptown 6 train and subway exit at the 59th/lexington stop. right above awaited thousands of excited revelers that were making their way to 5th avenue for the 249th st. patrick's day parade.
so on this st. paddy's day,
may your blessings outnumber
the shamrocks that grow,
and may trouble avoid you
wherever you go.
